About

The V-turn is a technique where you turn in a V-shape while pulling the ball back with the sole of your foot. In the program, we alternate between using the inside and outside of the foot. Ball Control: Starting from a dribbling position, it's important to control the ball within reach of your outstretched leg. ① Preparation for the Turn: While close to your opponent, observe their movements and time your turn. ② Pulling the Ball: Lightly pull the ball towards yourself with the sole of your foot. It's important to perform this movement quickly. ③ Changing Direction: After pulling the ball, shift your weight to your pivot foot, rotate your body 180 degrees, and dribble in the opposite direction. The V-turn becomes smoother with practice. Anticipating your opponent's movements and judging the timing is crucial.
